iRobot has trademarked "Connectr" in a filing dated Sept. 5, 2007. The mark is for "robots for video and audio monitoring, surveillance, and communication" which sounds an awful lot like a remote presence/security combo robot. (COOL!)
Engadget speculates that the new Connectr is one of the two iRobot home robots expected to be announced later this month at the DigitalLife conference in New York, alongside the Looj gutter-cleaning robot.
